The Skuldelev ships are a group of five well preserved 11th century ships from the Viking period, found in the Roskilde Fjord in Denmark near the town of Skuldelev. Skuldelev 5 was a small warship with a shallow draft, likely for coastal use - possibly a type of ship known as a 'snekkja'. It was about 17.3 m long and 2.5 m wide, capable of carrying a crew of around 30 men. This reconstruction is based off of archaeological line drawings of the wreck, as well as a full scale replica known as the 'Helge Ask'. It was modeled and rendered in Blender, with materials made using Substance. This is still a work in progress at the moment!
